Komodo Dragon

Once upon the ancient times there lived a princess who was named the Dragon Princess who lived and stayed on an island. Then the princess married a young man from across the country named Moja.

Shortly afterwards the princess became pregnant and gave birth to twins. The twins is male ,but they have different shapes. One in the form of a human and one in the form of a lizard. This makes the dragon princess and moja ashamed.

Then the baby in the form of a lizard and given the name ‘Orah’ was exiled in a forest on a different island. While human babies are cared for and given the name ‘Gerong’.

Day passed and year after year changed Gerong grew into a young man who was agile and brave. It is said that one day Gerong was about to hunt deer in a forest, and he met a giant lizard.

Gerong then chased the giant lizard and wanted to kill him with a spear. Suddenly, the Dragon Princess appeared and prevented Gerong from pointing his spear at the giant lizard.

The Dragon Princess tells Gerong that the giant lizard is a Komodo dragon who is a twin brother of Gerong. After that incident, the surrounding community treated the Komodo dragon well.

Komodos live in the forest by hunting other animals such as deer, goats or boars. The giant lizard also lives side by side with local residents who live on Komodo Island until now.
